paulsparks To correct another he is doing some looping and repeated sound patterns that fade out while he is playing over them…he is using some old equipment that uses a “playmate” function that locks in the sound for about 3 seconds while plays some parts over it…otherwise it’s just him and guitar on many of the songs…

glassharpfan I was at this concert! I’ve seen Phil 40+ times over the years, and this show remains my favorite. It was mesmerizing. Phil was so at ease and absorbed by the spirit of the music -- maybe because he was back home in Northeast Ohio. His musicianship flowed effortlessly from song to song, and in jams within songs, making the show feel like one long whole experience, rather than a disconnected set of individual songs, and he played and played late into the night. So happy it's now available!
