This collection of "A Christmas Gift" Vol 1 was recorded in 1998-99..
I recorded to an Adat machine--eventually I got a 2nd one afterward. So as I recall, these recordings were done within 8 tracks. I played all the instruments--various guitars, bass and midi guitar and percussion. This initial and 1st ever Christmas album has a very "homespun" feel about it.
Most of the guitar and bass tracks were handed over to the very talented David Schober who added strings with the arrangements of Carl Marsh and Tom Howard, and became Majesty and Wonder.
One thing I like about this collection is how warm the guitars sound.

Update on Bonus Track 13
Last week my good friend Tom Gulotta suggested I record Let It Snow and we will make a video soon with his very talented wife Eve singing it live with my accompaniment.
This is my nod to the great Les Paul with the harmony guitar lines.
I am thrilled with this arrangement and I had fun playing the drums as well as the bass and guitars.
Merry Christmas and I hope you don't get too much snow!!
